What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese system of health improvement and personal development. The Form comprises of a series of slow graceful flowing movements, which bring harmony between body and mind. The movements can help to: strengthen the joints, increase suppleness, improve posture and balance.

What Should I Wear?

Anything loose fitting and comfortable, track suit trousers and a t-shirt would be ideal. Flexible shoes with soft soles are best, so that your foot can move.

What Can I expect?

Classes start with stretching followed by learning the Tai Chi Form (movements), Dao Yin breathing exercises and Kai Men (Chinese Yoga).
